Ian is the Senior Manager of Business Development at MaRS. His work promotes stronger national and international programs to deliver commercial impact in science-based technologies solving real-world problems. His approach collides industry narratives across corporate, non-profit, government and other stakeholders; and re-focuses technology through the power of good business. Prior to joining MaRS, Ian had a multidisciplinary background with organizations in sustainable energy, advanced AR/VR, IT, and consumer technology. Ian holds a HBA Double Honours in Biology and Geography.
