George Sarsaroudis (Charchar)

George is the contact person in Ottawa for GKP Law Firm & Associates (GKP Law), Athens, which provides one-stop shop services (legal, accounting/tax, business development) for investment opportunities in Greece. Also, George assists GKP Law in its initiatives towards the facilitation of cooperation between Canadian and Greek Universities, in collaboration with the Greek Embassy in Ottawa and the Canadian Embassy in Athens.

Initially, a Chemical Engineer by profession, with further education in Managerial Economics and extensive experience in market regulation. Some of the organizations he has served in the past are Airco Carbon US, Cyanamid Canada, Pepsi-Cola Ottawa, Office of Auditor General of Canada (OAG), Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC), the National Telecommunications and Post Commission of Greece (EETT), and the Quest Group of Greece (Telecom and Post).

In academia, George was Lecturer of quantitative business courses over a period of 26 years in various institutions, such as the University of Ottawa, Carleton University, ENAP, and the International MBA Programme of the University of Strathclyde in Athens, Greece.

Presently, George is the sole proprietor of GGC Specialised Consulting in Ottawa.
