Biography

Konstantinos [Constantine] Katsigiannis is Senior Partner at KatsigiannisMoschovakis1886 p.c.. He carries on a long family tradition in law & business consulting services and has over 40 years of experience with individual and corporate clients, governments and organizations, including the Government of Canada and the Canadian Olympic Committee.

His expertise covers advisory services in investments, negotiations and contracts, public procurements, telecoms & defence, oil & gas, construction & real estate, corporate enhancement, privatizations, venture capital, distribution and retailing. He has acted as Project Manager for public procurement tenders and EU studies and is a Hellenic Ministry of Justice Mediator. He lectures at University post-graduate programs and has contributed in publications on venture capital and public procurements. His legal and business background combines with hands-on experience in the chemical industry, chemical engineering and venture capital where he was a pioneer in the early stages of the venture capital industry in Greece.

He has been serving on the Board of Directors of listed and non-listed Greek and international companies, served as the Attaché of the Canadian Paralympic Committee for the Athens 2004 Games and as the Representative of Canada and the Vancouver Olympic Committee for the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics Olympic Torch Relay & Ceremonies. He has also served on the Board of Directors and the Executive Committee of the European Venture Capital Association (EVCA) and the Greek Large Retailers Association (SELPE). He is currently the President of the Canada-Greece Chamber of Commerce, an honorary member of the European Coaching & Mentoring Association Greece (EMCC) and President of the AHEPA Chapter ATLAS HJ-53.

He studied at the Law School of the University of Athens, the Universite de Paris I – Pantheon-Sorbonne, the EVCA Venture Institute, the EU-Japan Center for Industrial Co-operation, the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb) and the Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution (CEDR).

He is fluent in Greek, English, French and Italian, communicates in Spanish and Portuguese.
